about

Not gonna lie: our Hip Hop mixtape/album game is tight. Real tight. It seems everything we touch over the past few years turns to swagger. But that don't mean we're gonna slow this shit down. Quite the contrary my fine feathered friends. We about to turn this motherfucker up to 87.

We already partnered with Das Racist to release two tapes of their hyper-intellectual pop culture product LOL rap to, uh, pretty goddamn great acclaim. Then we hooked up with Stalley to get our fix of old school midwest rap. I'd say that went better than alright too. And now we're dropping a big bag of straight up party rap on your asses in conjunction with some rapscallions we like to call The '87 Stick Up Kids. Needless to say, our good luck fittingly continues with the release of their debut mixtape Car Keys & Rabbit's Feet.

Just in time for Summer, this Los Angeles based four piece is here to soundtrack your beach parties, bonfires, hotboxes, tank-topped clubbing, rooftop shenanigans, and whatever other youth-type warm weather shit you feel like getting into. You've already seen the videos to their singles "Lights, Camera" and "Breaker Breaker" and if those were up your alley (they better be), then Car Keys & Rabbit's Feet should fit right in on heavy rotation.

Featuring appearances from LA mainstay Diz Gibran, Philly ingenue Amanda Blank, and more, the tape is plain hot. Hell, it's even got a song about a strip club that also serves fried chicken. 808's, heavy bass, and smart, bratty lyrics chock full 'o braggadocio make The 87 Stick Up Kids the correct choice to throw on your ghettoblaster. So what are you waiting for? Download that shit right here!
